Vape Coils in Dubai
The coil is the heating element that turns e-liquid into vapour, and it is the one component in every refillable setup that is designed to be replaced. We stock 9 coil types from AED 45 to AED 79 for the tank and pod systems most commonly used in the UAE.
Mesh versus wire
Older coils used a wound wire around a cotton wick. Mesh coils use a perforated strip instead, which heats more evenly across a larger surface area. In practice mesh gives cleaner flavour, faster ramp-up and a longer usable life. Nearly everything we stock is mesh, including the Vaporesso GTX mesh coil and the GEEKVAPE Super Mesh X1 X2.
Reading the resistance
Resistance in ohms determines how the coil behaves. Above roughly 1.0 ohm the airflow is tight and the draw is cigarette-like, using little power and suiting salt nicotine. Between 0.6 and 1.0 ohm sits a middle ground. Below 0.6 ohm the coil runs hot with an open, direct-to-lung draw and needs low-strength freebase e-liquid, since high-strength liquid at that power would be unpleasant. Every coil is stamped with its resistance and a recommended wattage range. Stay inside that range.
Prime before first use
Drip a few drops of liquid directly onto the exposed cotton ports, fit the coil, fill the tank and wait ten minutes. Skipping this burns the wick on the first puff and the coil cannot be recovered. It is the most common reason a new coil fails immediately.
Making coils last
Sweetened dessert and candy liquids caramelise on the coil and shorten its life the most. Chain vaping does the same by not letting the wick re-saturate between draws. Keeping the tank topped up rather than running it low also helps. A well-treated mesh coil in a light fruit or menthol liquid can run three to four weeks.
Compatibility
