Vape Batteries in Dubai

New to removable cells? Read our vape battery buying guide, and see our battery chargers and pod devices that take 18650 cells.

Devices that take a removable cell give you something built-in batteries cannot: when the charge runs out you swap in a fresh cell and keep going. That matters on long days and it extends the life of the device, since a tired battery is replaced rather than the whole mod. We stock 10 batteries and cells from AED 29 to AED 90.

Understanding the numbers

Two figures matter. Capacity in mAh determines how long a cell lasts between charges, so a 3000mAh cell runs longer than a 2600mAh one at the same power. The continuous discharge rating in amps determines how much current the cell can safely deliver. High-wattage and sub-ohm setups draw hard, and a cell with too low an amp rating will sag, run hot and is genuinely unsafe. Always match the amp rating to what your device demands rather than buying on capacity alone.

Common formats

The 18650 is still the most widely used cell in vaping, found in mods such as the Geekvape Aegis series in our pod device range. We stock EFEST 18650 3000mAh 35A, AWT 18650 3500mAh and Sony VTC5 18650 2600mAh 30A. Some devices use proprietary packs instead, such as the OXBAR Maglink 1500mAh.

Safety basics

Lithium cells deserve respect. Never carry a loose cell in a pocket or bag with keys or coins, since shorting the terminals can cause a violent failure. Use a plastic case. Replace any cell whose wrap is torn or nicked, as a damaged wrap can short against the device body. Do not charge unattended or overnight, and never use a cell that has been dropped hard, dented or has swollen. Use a dedicated battery charger rather than an unknown USB adapter, and always run cells in matched pairs in a dual-battery device, charged together and used together.

Getting longer life

Avoid running a cell fully flat before recharging, and store spares at around half charge if they will sit unused. Heat is the main enemy, so keep cells out of a car in UAE summer conditions. Cells are consumable and typically last 300 to 500 charge cycles.
