Why not just charge in the device

Many mods offer onboard USB charging, and it is fine occasionally. But in a dual-battery device the onboard circuit charges cells in series, which over time lets them drift out of balance. Unbalanced cells reduce performance and are a genuine safety concern. An external charger treats each cell independently and keeps a matched pair matched.

Choosing a charger

Bay count is the first decision. A two-bay unit like the EFEST Lush Q2 suits a single dual-battery mod, while a four-bay unit such as the EFEST Lush Q4 lets you rotate a larger set. Charging safely

Charge on a hard, non-flammable surface with room around the unit, never on a bed or sofa. Do not leave cells charging unattended or overnight. Remove cells once charging completes rather than leaving them sitting in the bays for days. Check that the wrap on each cell is intact before inserting it, since a torn wrap can short against the charger contacts. If a cell becomes hot to the touch during charging, stop using it.

Matching cells
